"Once upon a time, in the wild west, six barrels of The Vice Precious Oak Knoll District Cabernet were held hostage.

Then "Mr. Weiss" appeared, released the wine, and bottled it unfiltered and unclarified.

"A gorgeous nose dominated by aromas of red berries, autumn spices and rose.

When you put it in your mouth, the juicy aroma of black currant and bright red candied cherries spreads throughout your mouth.

The finish is smooth and spicy with hints of red hot chili pepper, cinnamon and anise.

The grapes are sourced from Napa Green certified vineyards located on the southeastern edge of the Oak Knoll region of Napa Valley.

The perfect microclimate, neither too hot nor too cold, encourages fruit development and produces Cabernets of vibrant character and elegance.

The 2020 vintage will be remembered for more than just average metrics.

Napa had a dry, warm winter, with rain and cold only beginning to appear at the end of March.

And while a mild spring has got us off to a wonderful early start, COVID-19 has meant that winemaking is carried out with extensive safety precautions.

August was a record hot month, and harvest began in mid-September.

The Vice is a brand that produces small batches of high quality wines from Napa Valley.

Each wine is made from a single grape variety, hand-selected from vineyards that best represent that grape variety and its region.

The brand was born from passionate people, sustainable agriculture, years of expertise in the wine industry and an understanding of current consumer wine trends.

The Vice is as personal a brand as you could ask for, and it's all run by the founders.

They drive trucks to get the grapes, crush them, bottle them, label them, and do as much by hand as possible.

The founders also design the labels, market and sell the wines.

The Vice believes that "the best wine in the world" does not necessarily mean "the most expensive," and is committed to providing the highest quality wines at the best value.
