COMMENT
Like Marcel Lapierre and Pierre Auvernoy, Texier has been producing terroir-focused "natural wines" since the 1990s.
We produce wine mainly from the very small AOC "Côtes du Rhône Brezem", which is about 23 hectares in size.
This wine is a modern, natural wine that Texier calls "Nature Moderne", which respects each terroir and expresses the unique flavor of young Roussanne vines grown on limestone soils.
WINEMAKING
The soil is limestone, similar to Hermitage.
The wine is made using grapes selected from Massale Selection, planted in 2011.
Fermented in concrete tanks and then aged for 8 months in wooden barrels.
