The wine is made from grapes grown in cool climate vineyards on California's North Coast.

This sparkling wine has aromas of green apple and tropical notes that linger in the mouth until the end with smooth, delicate bubbles, and a light tropical flavor that lingers forever.

The harvested grapes are separated into lots and presses and undergo primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks to produce base wine, which is then blended based on the aroma, acidity, etc. of the base wine to produce the cuvée.

The cuvée is then bottled after adding a mixture of sugar and yeast (liquer de tirage), and a secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle using the Champagne method (Methode Champenoise).

After fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for nine months on the yeast lees, then the bottles are riddled to collect the lees at the neck of the bottle, the neck of the bottle is frozen to remove the lees (degorgement), a little liqueur is added to balance the wine (dosage), the wine is corked, and the wine is bottle-aged with wire.

After aging in the bottle, the wine is labeled, covered in foil and shipped.

Luck & Riddle is one of the largest producers of Champagne-method sparkling wine in California and the United States, as well as contract producer for sparkling wine wineries across the country.

While they produce sparkling wine for over 150 companies each year, Rack & Riddle is their only in-house brand.

The Rack & Riddle name and logo come from the traditional Champagne making method, with "rack" and "riddling" referring to the process of removing sediment from wine.

The logo is inspired by the historic Champagne Riddling Rack.

They continue to produce sparkling wines using the latest equipment and technology while maintaining a deep respect for tradition.
