Lady Langoa is a Barton family specialty, blending second wines from Chateau Langoa Barton and Chateau Leoville Barton. It is named after Susan, daughter of Hugh Barton, who purchased Chateau Langoa in 1821. The wine is balanced and appetizing, with typical Saint-Julien characteristics of complex and sophisticated bouquet and elegant fruitiness. Because the amount of production is extremely limited, it is said that it is always more difficult to find than the chateau thing.
