COMMENT

This is another wine produced by Château Pas des Lins, which is adjacent to Château Figeac and Château Cheval Blanc.

The winery owns small plots in five of the eight districts of Saint-Emilion, and combines grapes grown in three different types of soil: gravel, clay sand, and clay limestone, to create a wine with excellent balance. The pale pink color of the label and cap seal is inspired by the antique pink color used in an old print that the owner found in an antique shop.

HVE3 (High Environmental Value level 3) certified.

WINEMAKING

Grapes from different plots in Saint-Emilion are used. The soil is mainly gravel, clay sand, and clay limestone. After strict selection using a sorting table after harvest, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks while controlling the temperature. Slow remontage is performed during fermentation. The wine is then aged in wooden barrels for about 12 months.
