COMMENT
They are the makers of the AOC "Saint-Auban" which is currently attracting attention in the Cote de Beaune. Until now, Saint-Auban has been overshadowed by the surrounding famous wine villages, but the new generation has improved the quality and the high cost performance has earned it a high reputation.
This wine is made only from grapes from the 1st Cru vineyard "Sur Gamay", which is said to be the best plot for red wine in Saint-Aubin. The vineyard is over 45 years old. It is possible to list the name of the vineyard, but to avoid confusion with the variety "Gamay", it is listed as Premier Cru only.
