It's Charles' homage to Washington state, land of the apple.

If you think the name Eve conjures up images of temptation, wait until you taste this sinfully delicious Chardonnay.

Eve is pure, charming and unmistakably Washington.

With fresh, fruity flavors and a crisp, bright mouthfeel reminiscent of Washington State's famous apples, this dry Chardonnay continues to win awards long after the vines leave the vineyard.

Some say Adam and Eve taught us what is good and what is evil.

That's why today we know Yves' Chardonnay to be deviously delicious.

It has a rich, full-bodied flavour and a lingering, refreshing aftertaste, led by a mineral aroma.

Fragrance: Fruity notes of apple and citrus are followed by a delicate and light floral scent.

Vineyard: Evergreen Planted in 1998 by Jerry Milbrandt, this vineyard is located along the steep bluffs of the Columbia River in Ancient Lakes, the state's newest AVA.

Cooled by the river, the land has nitrogen-poor soils composed of crushed basalt, gravel, silt and caliche deposited by glacial floods.

This site produces fruit with great mineral character and balanced acidity that winemakers love.

The whole bunches are pressed and the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks using a portion of wild yeast.

20% of the total juice undergoes malolactic fermentation and the wine is aged on the lees for 6 months.

Charles Smith Wines was founded by our first winemaker, Charles Smith.

He was originally a rock band manager and a small wine shop owner before starting his own business with 300 cases of wine he made in his own style.

Charles Smith has won numerous awards, including Winery of the Year and Winemaker of the Year, and is now one of Washington's leading winemakers.

It's not just his appearance that is unforgettable once you see it, but the same goes for his label design.

The theme of Charles Smith Wines is “modernist” - wines for people who like modern, new sensibilities and trends.

Wine to buy today and enjoy today.

You'll be amazed at how high the quality is, just as it looks impressive.

This is a casual wine that represents Washington, where you can experience the true character of the grape variety and vineyard.

Label design: Artistic, iconic and instantly recognisable, the playful label has been acclaimed since the first vintage was released in 2006.

The concept alludes to the flavors and pairings of wine, and the design was done by Charles' longtime friend Ricky Koff.

Raised in Denmark, she worked as design director for the premium line at Levi Strauss before starting her own design house.

"My design style has always been, and will always be, functionality, modernity and simplicity.

It is based on this pure perspective.

Combine that with the soul of rock and roll and raw honesty to create a future icon and cult brand.
