A bright, acid wine from one of the oldest vines in the Valais.
One of the oldest vines in the Yakima Valley, planted in 1968 on a south-facing slope. It is fermented in a stainless steel tank to bring out the firm sourness, and is devised to make the food that goes with it even more delicious. No barrels are used and no malolactic fermentation is performed. Also, no yeast is added. A vibrant palate with pear, quince and grapefruit acidity. Alc: 12.9%
The vines from Hahn Hill Vineyard were planted in 1968 on a south-facing slope and they are some of the oldest vines in the Yakima Valley. The juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks – preserving a crisp character that enhances rather than dominates vibrant cuisine. We use no oak, no malolactic fermentation or commercial yeast in our Chenin Blanc.
