It goes well with grilled meat dishes such as chicken, pork, and beef steak. Sliced steak goes well with sour dressings and fruit sauces. When our staff paired it with spare ribs, the winemaker commented, "Perfect pairing!"

It has a berry flavor with hints of cocoa and vanilla, and the soft tannins linger for a long time, revealing its charm in the aftertaste.
COMMENT
Zinfandelic wines pay homage to rock music and Zinfandel from the 1960s. The labels are also influenced by rock posters from the 1960s. Lodi is famous for producing outstanding Zinfandel and is known as the "Zinfandel capital of the world." The 2018 vintage reflects this characteristic well.
WINEMAKING
Lodi is located inland, about an hour and a half drive east from San Francisco, and is home to the oldest Zinfandel vineyard in California. Characterized by warm sunshine and cool evening breezes, it has ideal growing conditions for winemaking. Grapes are planted in sandy loam soil at low altitudes and clay-based gravel soil at higher altitudes. These very well-drained soils produce wines with powerful fruit flavors and a rich, silky taste. Aged for 10 months in wooden barrels.
