This Pinot Blanc is rare in California, grown in a single vineyard in the famous Santa Lucia Highlands. It has a structured finish with skin contact and sur lie.

Aromas of passion fruit, peach, pear and raw almond. Flavors of pomegranate and lemon zest blend beautifully with a mineral feel. Transparent acidity continues until the end.

A tribute to Alsace, France

Union Sacré is a wine made by two people from different continents who met on California's Central Coast and who love each other.

Xavier Arnaudin, a WSET-certified winemaker from France, and Philippe Massey, a self-taught designer from Michigan, produce single-vineyard, single-varietal wines in Tin City, Paso Robles, with a focus on Riesling, a type of wine that is widely produced in Alsace.

While attending culinary school and training to become a sommelier, and interning at a three-star Michelin restaurant, he met Joe Davis, owner of Arcadian Winery, who had come from California, and was invited by him to come to the Central Coast. After experiencing harvest and working at a winery, Arnaudin decided to pursue winemaking in earnest, and returned to France to study oenology, then returned to California to work under Kurt Shaklin, who founded Saint-Liage. It was around this time that he met Philippe, whom he had met through a friend, and they began sharing their dreams of starting a business together someday.

The wine you want to drink, in the style you want

About a year after he started out in the wine industry, working hard and dreaming of starting a winery, Muzy approached Arnaudin to make wine. The brand name is "UnionSacre," a sacred union of two people from completely different backgrounds who forget their differences and make the best decisions for the wine. Muzy, who is mainly in charge of the business in general, including sales and marketing, and Arnaudin, who is in charge of winemaking, produce their favorite varieties, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Arnaudin's style emphasizes acidity and balance with fruitiness. He does not like concentrated red wines, and he uses oak only to bring out the tannins, valuing a light taste.

Muzi has great trust in Arnaudin, and says he couldn't imagine anyone else as a business partner. Not only does Arnaudin have knowledge and talent in winemaking, but he also operates, stores, and manages the tools and heavy machinery in the cellar, including forklifts, and does everything perfectly, from lining up the barrels to cleaning the floors. He is loved and respected not only by Muzi, but by many people involved in the wine business in Paso Robles. Many people who have worked with him say that Arnaudin is one of the most talented winemakers on the Central Coast. Their sincere attitude is surely reflected in their winemaking.
