Twenty Rows was created as a tribute to the first vineyard planted by farmer Brian Nass in Napa Valley. His dream was to produce small batches of Napa Valley's finest wines, with the varietal character of the grapes themselves and the terroir of the land where the grapes are grown. Later, with the desire to create a Napa wine that could be drunk every day, Twenty Rows was created using 20 rows of the first vineyard planted by Brian on the slopes of Mount Veeder. Twenty Rows was created as a tribute to the first vineyard planted by farmer Brian Nass in Napa Valley. His dream was to produce small batches of Napa Valley's finest wines, with the varietal character of the grapes themselves and the terroir of the land where the grapes are grown. Later, with the desire to create a Napa wine that could be drunk every day, Brian began making Twenty Rows using 20 rows of the first vineyards he planted on the slopes of Mount Veeder. Brian's first vintage was released in 2003, and in the same year he partnered with Jason Trulbey, who shared the same vision. Their shared mission is to create varietal wines that are flavorful, smooth, and beautiful. They are complex, beautifully balanced, and perfect for enjoying with food. The grapes are handled with the utmost care, with minimal human intervention, and the wines are brewed in small batches and then blended to create Twenty Rows' unique style.
