The soil is pebbles, sand and red clay, and the average age of the vines is about 40 years. The grapes are harvested and brewed in individual plots. After 12 months of barrel aging, they are blended in the best balance. As they age, the tannins become rounder and develop complex flavors like roasted almonds, fig compote and tanned leather.
