Selected from carefully selected vineyards near the cold San Pablo Bay, where cold fog hangs over the mornings and evenings, but when the fog clears during the day, there is ample sunlight, making this wine suitable for Chardonnay. Fermented and aged for 8 months in French barrels that have been used for one year. With a golden color and fresh fruit aromas of apples, pears, and melons, the wine also has impressive tropical fruit aromas such as mango and pineapple, and a fragrant toast from the barrels. It has a balanced rich, creamy mouthfeel and a gentle, non-smooth acidity.
What is a classic Napa Valley Chardonnay?
Golden color, solid fruit flavor, oily nuances, beautiful acidity without dullness, oak nuances blended into the wine as a toasty and spicy flavor, and good compatibility with shellfish?
This is a classic wine that represents the epitome of Napa Chardonnay at a reasonable price.
Vintage Information
The grapes harvested before the extremely hot weather in mid-September had perfect acidity and freshness, while the grapes harvested afterwards had great structure, deep color, and luxurious fruitiness and power. The perfect blend of the two creates a well-balanced finish.

Field Information
Located on the south side of Napa Valley, close to the cold San Pablo Bay, this area is shrouded in cold fog in the mornings and evenings, but when the fog clears during the day there is ample sunlight, making it an ideal location for Chardonnay. The vineyards are carefully selected based on the characteristics of the vintage.
The 2022 Chardonnay comes primarily from Coombsville and Mount Veeder vineyards. Coombsville is cooler and the soils vary from gravelly loam to clay and volcanic.
The south side of Mount Veeder is cooler, and as the altitude increases, the soil becomes more rocky, which helps the grapes grow with a hard mineral feel. The vineyards are blended from warm and cool areas, resulting in a wine with a good balance of natural acidity and fruitiness.
