COMMENT
"Wine is like life and music," says Lo-Fi Wines, a small winery founded in Santa Barbara in 2013 by winemaker Michael Ross and his longtime friend Craig Winchester.
They believe that wine is not a drink to pursue perfection or truth, but something to be enjoyed every day at the dinner table with family and friends - a part of the meal.
We aim to produce fresh, gentle wines with low alcohol content, and we do not use any SO2 or only add a minimum amount.
WINEMAKING
A blend of Chenin Blanc from Honey Bear Vineyard in Los Olivos and Tres Hermana Vineyard, located between Los Olivos and Santa Maria. Both are sustainably farmed. Harvested separately and directly pressed. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for six months in a variety of containers, including neutral oak and stainless steel. Racked, blended, and aged for another three months for a total of nine months. The minimum required 30ppm SO2 was added before bottling.
