DINING
It complements a wide range of meat dishes, including prosciutto, roast duck, bacon, roast chicken, and yakitori.
TASTING
Aromas of strawberry, American cherry and sandalwood. In the mouth, the aromas of tanned leather, tobacco leaves, earthiness and roasted spices spread. The tannins are soft and there is a pleasant acidity.
COMMENT
Liquid Farm is a California "Chardonnay" specialist, but because they have access to excellent Pinot Noir, they also produce a specially brewed wine of the same type that is excellent. SBC stands for Santa Barbara County, where the grapes are grown. This Pinot Noir is a perfect expression of the SBC terroir.
WINEMAKING
Fermented in open-top stainless steel tanks. Punched down during fermentation. 10% whole-cluster fermentation. Aged 11 months in neutral French oak.
