The Lang Twins family first moved to Lodi in the 1870s and grew watermelons there, but in 1916 they began growing grapes.
My grandfather and father learned agricultural know-how from my great-grandfather, expanded the fields, and established a winery in 2006. Currently, the fifth generation is involved in winemaking alongside the sixth generation.
The vineyards cover more than 3,000 hectares, from Lodi to Clement Hill Sub and Clarksburg. The grape varieties include 33 varieties, including Zinfandel, the most representative variety in Lodi.
We pride ourselves on exploring the potential of each varietal and creating wines that are enjoyable to pair with food.
All of the wines are certified natural by Lodi, known as Certified Green, a designation given only to wines that pass a rigorous inspection based on 101 criteria.
The head brewer is David Akiyoshi, formerly Robert Mondavi's head brewer.
