Hand-picked early in the morning and hand-sorted. Fermented at low temperature. Aged for 17 months in French barrels (22% new barrels). Fruity, food-friendly, with soft tannins, this wine is enjoyable even immediately after release. Cherry and plum aromas with hints of sage and spices. Soft mouthfeel and rich, velvety tannins. Long aftertaste of dark chocolate, savory roasted meat, and spices. Rich and pleasant.

Tasting Comments
Well balanced medium body.
Deep purple in color with aromas of black cherry, cherry, cinnamon and clove.
It then opens up into a juicy mid-palate, with toasty oven-roasted fruit flavours and a smooth long finish with firm yet well-balanced tannins.
A rich, expressive and food-friendly wine.
