COMMENT
Ernest Vineyards, a boutique winery on the Sonoma Coast that produces artisanal wines, describes their wines as "site-specific," a term that refers to the nature of an artwork that belongs to a specific place, and refers to the work, or the nature or method of its creation, that belongs to that place.
Ernest Vineyards is committed to sourcing grapes from select vineyards in Sonoma County, covering a total of approximately 24 acres, 12 different terroirs, with approximately half of the vineyards in a very cool climate. Their site-specific wines beautifully showcase this diversity of climate and terroir.
WINEMAKING

Fermented with natural yeast, 33% whole bunches. Aged for 8 months in 228L French oak barrels (25% new). Lightly filtered and bottled. Production volume: 750 cases.
