0.31ha. 1 plot (Morsaz). Yield: 40hl/ha. Fermented in small barrels, aged in barrels (10% new barrels) for 7-8 months. Born in 1984 as Pierre Gaillard's eldest daughter. She grew up watching her father work from an early age, and in 1996 began helping with field work and cellar work. She obtained her baccalaureate in 2003. She then studied at the Beaune Winery and Winemaking School for four years and obtained a diploma in alcoholic beverage sales and winery and winemaking. During that time, she trained at Domaine Bachelet Monod for two years and gained experience in California. She joined Domaine Pierre Gaillard in 2007. After that, in 2008, she inherited 8ha of VinsdePays from her father and founded Domaine Jeanne Gaillard. For the white wine, he received barrels used three times from Domaine Bachelet Monod in Burgundy, whom he became acquainted with during his training. After pressing, the wine is fermented and aged immediately in barrels. For the red wine, after sorting and destemming, it is placed in a fiberglass tank and macerated at low temperature, with the temperature kept at around 25°C for fermentation. After fermentation, the wine is left to rest at 25°C for about 7 to 8 days. There is almost no punching down, and remontage is performed twice a day. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks. Pierre has a dedicated space in a corner of his winery where he works. Based on what he learned from his father, he is eager to create his own style, and aims to make something softer and more fruity than his father's style.
