Jean-Michel has used his own name for the domaine since 1987, and since the mid-1990s, his reputation and popularity have skyrocketed, and he is now one of the leading producers in Côte Rotie. He cultivates his vineyards in conditions as close to nature as possible, limits the yield (24-30hl/ha), and selects and brews fully ripe and healthy grapes. We are starting a new challenge by cultivating grapes using the Logique method. The ratio of new barrels is 30-100% and the wine is aged for 12-24 months. The red wine is 100% Syrah (with some Viognier blended at 5-10%). .
The white wine is 100% Viognier. Now, with the participation of his two sons, this is a producer that maintains its traditions while also being expected to undergo further transformation.
