WINEMAKING
The "Côtes du Py" region is famous for its Morgon cru Beaujolais. The vineyards are located in the "Javernières Vineyard", at the foot of a slope that is considered a "Grand Cru" and has 1 hectare of land. The soil is mainly made up of oxidized granite, and has more clay containing humus than the upper part of the hill. The average age of the vines is 60 years.
Fermented and aged in wooden barrels (4-5 years) and concrete tanks. Bottled the following summer.
