COMMENT
This winery is based in the Anjou-Saumur region of the Loire Valley. They produce different types of wine, including white, red, rosé, sparkling, and sweet, to suit each terroir. They also do everything from cultivation to bottling in-house, and thoroughly manage traceability.
This is a charming red wine from the cool climate of the Loire, which can also be enjoyed chilled in hotter months.
WINEMAKING
The vineyards are on clay soil with gravel. The average age of the vines is 25 years. The clay, typical of the Anjou region, gives the wine its roundness and elegance. Fermentation takes place after 5-10 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation takes place.
