In 1853, the Lozano family planted their first vineyard in Villarro Bredo, Spain, mainly with Airén, a white grape variety native to the region. Since then, four generations have continued to cultivate grapes and produce high-quality wines, and the foundations of this have been built through various stages, including constant hard work, tenacity and prudence, to become what we know today as Lozano Winery.

With two privileged sites in Villarro Bredo and Rioja Alavesa, the winery is crafted with great attention to detail to ensure that its wines share its value and prestige.A benchmark in the international wine sector, it is a professional family business, committed to adapting to new times through new products and formats.

The Lozano Family's success is due in part to a winemaking philosophy based on consideration of soil quality, humidity, temperature, type of farm, grape ripeness, the distance from vineyard to winery and the time elapsed between harvest and winemaking, and above all, hard work.
