The wine is made from grapes from three vineyards: Campbell Ranch, Sunchase, and Starscape.
It has berries such as wild strawberries and blueberries with hints of plum skin and wilted rose, with a well-balanced astringency and tannins that lead to a long aftertaste.
Costa Brown is also famous for being ranked number one in Wine Spectator's Top 100 in 2011.
ADMIRE and CONVENE are wines created by Dan Costa, founder of Costa Brown, and Shane Finley, a winemaker who has worked with him for 15 years and who helped shape an era of Costa Brown, using their outstanding experience and skills to express their ideals.
Dan's passion for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay has led him from creating wine lists in fine restaurants as a sommelier to developing cult wine brands such as his eponymous Costa Brown and collaborating with luminaries such as chef Emeril Lagasse.
Among his many accomplishments and contributions to the American wine industry, he also continues to give back to his local community through Convene, from volunteer work in the industry to charities for children.
