≪Details≫
Influenced by Lucy Margaux, this Pinot Noir was made from the original block in front of his house, which underwent 75% whole-cluster fermentation in open barrels. He didn't leave it outside, but he left it in the coldest section of the cellar because the volatile acidity increased immediately after the MLF fermentation, and he took his time to find the right timing for bottling. It actually took more than 24 months for this wine to be bottled, and it was a wise decision for Lance not to bottle it until he tasted the wine and decided that it was ready. Because the racking was perfectly completed, the taste is clear, healthy, and truly beautiful, even though it was finished with zero. The lively fruitiness of American cherries and raspberries, the spice of cloves, cinnamon, and licorice, and the smoothness that always lies in his wines. All of these elements are brought together at a high level in an elegant style.
