COMMENT
Like Marcel Lapierre and Pierre Auvernoy, Texier has been producing terroir-focused "natural wines" since the 1990s.
We produce wine mainly in the very small production area of about 23 hectares, "Côtes du Rhône-Brézem".
This wine is inspired by the Côtes du Rhône as a whole, expressing the flavor of the region rather than any particular terroir.
The name of the wine "Adèle" comes from the female protagonist of the sketch comic "Adèle Blanc-Sec", which is familiar to French people. The label features a picture of Adèle's back wearing her trademark hat.
WINEMAKING
The grapes are grown on granite soil at an altitude of 300m. The wine is brewed using only natural yeast. After fermentation in concrete tanks, it is aged in wooden barrels with the lees for 6 to 8 months.
