Born in 1984 as Pierre Gaillard's eldest daughter. She grew up watching her father work from an early age, and in 1996 she began helping with field work and cellar work. She obtained her baccalauréat in 2003. After that, she studied at the Beaune Winery and Winemaking School for four years and obtained a diploma in alcoholic beverage sales and wine growing and winemaking. During that time, she trained at Domaine Bachelet Monod for two years and gained experience in California. She joined Domaine Pierre Gaillard in 2007. After that, in 2008, she took over 8 hectares of VinsdePays from her father and founded Domaine Jeanne Gaillard. For the white wine, she received barrels used three times from Domaine Bachelet Monod in Burgundy, where she became acquainted during her training, and the wine is fermented and aged immediately after pressing. After sorting and destemming, the red wine is put into fiberglass tanks and macerated at low temperature, fermenting at around 25°C. After fermentation, it is left to rest for about 7 to 8 days at 25°C. There is almost no punching down, and remontage is done twice a day. Aging is done in stainless steel tanks. Pierre has set aside a corner of the winery as his dedicated space for work. Based on what he learned from his father, but with a desire to create his own style, he aims to create something softer and more fruity than his father's style.
