60hl/ha.

Calcareous clay soil.

Planting density: 8,000 trees/ha.

The wine is pressed directly, racked for the first time, and fermented for one month at 12-14°C.

After the second racking, fermentation continues until completion.

Malolactic fermentation.

Aged for 3 to 4 months.

Production volume: 5,500 bottles.

The domaine is run by father and son, Gerard and Gilles Juran.

Gerard is the fifth generation of the family and initially started making wine by renting a vineyard from his father.

The first vintage was 1968, and he later took over the vineyards from his father and grandfather, and the domaine now covers 21.5 hectares.

The vineyards cover 40 parcels, each with its own unique, high-quality soil, and by blending them together the wine produces complex aromas and flavors.

We aim to cultivate the wine in as natural conditions as possible, and ferment the wine through a long cuvaison period.

Our goal is to use Gamay to create a wine that is completely natural yet has a strong structure that can be aged for a long time.

The Domaine is located just south of Fleury and north of the town of Lancie.

It is also used in famous restaurants in Paris.
