HāLo uses only grapes harvested from the Hill Spring Vineyard, which has shallow rocky soils and is protected from fog and wind.

Dark fruit aromas are layered with integrated floral notes.

Flavors of blueberry, blackberry and redcurrant are supported by dusty, fine-grained tannins and hints of cedar and sage, resulting in a fresh, supple mouthfeel.

The Trefethen family moved to this area in 1968 and purchased the winery and land built in the 19th century. Since then, they have been producing the highest quality wines as a family-run business for over 50 years, using only grapes from their own vineyards, where they can perfectly control the quality, in a region that has been through a series of acquisitions in Napa Valley.

Napa's climate is truly unique; the further south you go, the closer you are to the cold ocean where cold currents flow, so the climate is cooler and the flavors become more delicate.

Located in southern Napa, the style of this winery is truly elegant.

He has maintained an unwavering commitment to expressing the local climate of this cool land without being swept away by the times.

They also practice natural winemaking, including sustainable viticulture (environmentally friendly farming methods).

The winery is respected as one that is kind to not only the environment and consumers, but also to people, including the staff who work at the winery.

Trefethen is entering a new era, with winemaking being handed down from father John to son Lorenzo and supported by a team led by renowned general manager John Ruel.
