The Double Oak Series is Napa Valley's innovative approach to Cabernet Sauvignon.

This limited series Cabernet is aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels, followed by an additional 12 months in new American oak barrels for a total of 32 months.

The result is a unique, exquisite and unforgettable taste.

It has an impressive aroma that combines notes of wood, fruit cake, cigar box and black cherry.

It's a wine with a hearty mouthfeel with lots of dark fruit flavors along with cocoa, coffee bean and toasted almonds that some may find overwhelming but others will find pure delight.

The oak flavor lasts for a few minutes and reminds you that you're drinking a really big American Napa Cab.

It can be enjoyed now, but can also be cellared until 2045.

Our farm is called "The Ranch" and is located at the eastern end of Oakville Crossroads.

Located just a stone's throw from Dale Valle and a short distance from Screaming Eagle, the soil here varies from volcanic red earth to brown gravelly loam and is extremely well-drained.

The grapes produce small berries with a deep concentration.

A near perfect vintage.

This growing season will be remembered for the abundant rainfall (which has been the last since).

The summer was long, warm and mild at the end of the season, with no extreme heat waves.

The grapes were left hanging on the vine until mid-October, allowing the fruit to retain its freshness and finesse.

The harvest was smooth and we are expecting an exceptional vintage.

The Vice is a brand that produces small batches of high quality wines from Napa Valley.

Each wine is made from a single grape variety, hand-selected from vineyards that best represent that grape variety and its region.

The brand was born from passionate people, sustainable agriculture, years of expertise in the wine industry and an understanding of current consumer wine trends.

The Vice is as personal a brand as you could ask for, and it's all run by the founders.

They drive trucks to get the grapes, crush them, bottle them, label them, and do as much by hand as possible.

The founders also design the labels, market and sell the wines.

The Vice believes that "the best wine in the world" does not necessarily mean "the most expensive," and is committed to providing the highest quality wines at the best value.
