Vintage Information

2020 was another great vintage in California.

In Sonoma County, abundant rainfall in late winter and early spring kept the soil moist, and a heat wave in early summer helped the vines acclimate to the warmer conditions, allowing them to withstand the heat wave in late August.

The result was well-ripened, rich-flavored grapes, all harvested in a well-balanced state.

Tasting Comments

Aromas of plum, brown sugar, spices, tobacco and baked goods. Warm and rich flavors of baked cherry pie and plums spread out, with soft tannins.

This vintage has a unique earthiness and complexity that makes it a perfect match for charcuterie, mushroom risotto, and grilled pork tenderloin with cherry compote and mustard sauce.
