Located at an altitude of about 800 meters, the highest point in the south of the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA, it receives plenty of sunlight during the day and cools down at night, resulting in a large diurnal temperature difference that allows the grapes to ripen firmly while maintaining their rich acidity. Aged for 14 months in French barrels (40% new barrels). Attractive aromas of dark cherries and raspberries, subtle licorice, cedar, anise, and roasted coffee beans spread, and in the mouth, the flavor of dark berries blends with supple acidity and ripe tannins, creating a delicate and deep flavor. Elegant oak nuances add spice and tension, leading to an elegant finish. A bold and elegant wine.
Vintage Information
2022 was another excellent vintage. Although bud break was late, cool, dry weather throughout the growing season allowed the grapes to develop slowly and steadily and retain lively acidity. A heatwave arrived in the first week of September, helping the grapes ripen to an ideal level.

Field Information
Mann's Vineyard is located at the highest point in the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA, and from the vineyards at an altitude of about 800 meters, you can see breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Higher than the fog line, it receives plenty of sunlight during the day and cools down at night, and the large diurnal temperature difference allows the grapes to ripen firmly while maintaining abundant acidity. This marine microclimate combined with shale soil produces a unique Pinot Noir. To maximize the potential of this terroir, four Dijon clones, 115, 114, 667, and 777, are used, aiming for a wine with complexity, depth and solid structure.
