This is a precious reserve series with only about 1,300 cases produced per year. The rich flavor of ripe fruit is complemented by a hint of spice, and the aroma of toast, coffee, and other casks is also pleasant.

The grape source is the same as the Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, but the Reserve is a best barrel selection and has been aged in barrels for a longer period than regular Napa Valley.

Vintage Information

In 2019, the soil was well-moisturized due to the abundant winter rain, and the spring was slightly cooler and rainier, so bud break and flowering were two to three weeks later than the previous year. However, the warm summer temperatures allowed the grapes to make up for the delay in growth, ensuring an average yield.

We were able to harvest well-balanced fruit with a firm acidity and moderate sugar content.

Technical information

The grapes are harvested when fully ripe, selected, destemmed, and then aged at low temperature. They are then fermented in sealed fermentation tanks, pressed, and aged in French barrels (approximately 80% new barrels).

Tasting Comments

The 2019 Reserve Cabernet is an extraordinary wine, with the phrasing and voice of a vintage Martin D-45 guitar (a renowned American acoustic guitar, produced using carefully selected materials and special processes, Martin's flagship product).

Aromas of dark chocolate and espresso are embellished with Adirondack spruce (a high-quality guitar material), and the berry fruit flavor spreads out like a cascading cascade, and it is fleshy, powerful, and rich, with hints of granite. This wine resonates from the core, and maintains its supple character until the last note.

Field Information

The wine is a blend of grapes grown on the hills and terraces of Calistoga, Rutherford and Oak Knoll.

The grape source is the same as the Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, but the Reserve is a best barrel selection and has been aged in barrels for a longer period than regular Napa Valley.
