Two Paddocks / The Fusilier Pinot Noir 2018
A feminine, supple texture with spicy red fruit, dried herbs and wildflower aromas, this wine has great tension, vitality, concentration and length.

Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Winemaking: At the westernmost end of Felton Road, a 5.6ha terraced vineyard facing north. Hand-picked grapes fermented with natural yeast, 1/3 whole bunches used. Cold maceration for about 5 days in 3.5 ton wooden barrels. Aged for 11 months in medium light toasted French oak. 1/3 new barrels are used for balance.
White flower, frangipani, kaffir, lime, and spice aromatics, leading to a textural mouthfeel showing brightness, minerality, and drive. The wine finishes with a lithe balanced persistence.
