The combination of two types of rootstocks and several clones creates complex wine flavors. Nickel & Nickel is a winery with the motif of "one grape variety, one vineyard" and is a sister winery of Far Niente Winery, which is immovably popular in Napa Valley. The biggest feature of Nickel & Nickel's wines is that they are made from a single grape variety from a single vineyard. The most important decision is which single vineyard to make wine from. No matter how great a single vineyard is, if there is even a small part that does not meet their standards, they will not make wine from it. Wines are carefully brewed and aged using only grapes that convey the individuality of the variety and soil.
