This wine was born from the "Empowerment Project", which aims to improve the status and empower employees. The employees own 52% of the business, and all the grapes used for Five's Reserve are grown on the 55ha field of De Gory Farm, which they manage. The label features South Africa's "Big 5" animals, "leopard, buffalo, lion, rhinoceros, and elephant".
