Evening Land is a symbol of the perfect garden that continues to be sought. From the time of Greek mythology to the present day, Evening Land is synonymous with adventure and romance, which inevitably leads to the West Coast of America. Seven Springs Vineyards, located in the Eola-Amity Hills of Oregon's Willamette Valley, grows Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gamay Noir on 80 acres (32 ha). The vineyard, which is wholly owned by Evening Land, is known as one of the best vineyards in Oregon and has been selected as one of the top 10 vineyards in the United States by Food & Wine magazine. It is also a special vineyard that is described as "one of Oregon's best vineyards, producing grapes of consistent quality every year" by Wine Advocate magazine. Seven Springs, located on an east-facing slope, was planted in 1983 and the soil is typical of Oregon's volcanic red soil. The ratio of young and old vines is well balanced, and a wide variety of grapes are harvested from plots with various microclimates. They produce a complete estate wine from their own vineyards in Seven Springs, which are cultivated biodynamically. When Evening Land was first established, it was known as the first overseas winemaking project by Dominique Lafon of Comtes Lafon, a great Burgundy Mursault producer and one of the top five white wine producers in the world. Currently, Raja Parr, who is also known as an entrepreneur who leads the popular winery Domaine de la Cote in Santa Rita Hills, California, and talented winemaker Sashi Moorman are in charge of the management and brewing of Evening Land. Due to their influence, the wine has become as close to European style as possible, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is the most notable winery in Oregon right now.
