OnRoute is a winery specializing in Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, founded in 2007 by the five owners of Far Niente Winery, a perennial favorite in Napa Valley. The name OnRoute comes from the "journey" that began when the late Gil Nickel secretly started a Pinot Noir project in the 1980s, to the founding of OnRoute in 2007.
