This vineyard is located on the western side of the northernmost part of the village. It is a plot on a gentle slope facing southeast in the northern part of the vineyard. Planted in 1960. Some of the vines are over 60 years old, while the rest are an average of 20 years old. 0.3ha. Founded in 1940, this is a long-established domaine in Meursault. The current owner's grandfather, Julien Coche-Dubeau, established the domaine, and his father, Alain Coche-Bizouard, led the domaine to great success. The current owner, Fabien Coche, born in 1973, took over the domaine himself and, while working on it, has held important positions in the Meursault wine producers' association for many years, establishing a solid position in Meursault as an indispensable presence in the region. Coche-Dury and Jean-Marc Roulot are Fabien's cousins, making this a truly prestigious family of Meursault. Currently, Fabien knows the Cote de Beaune, which produces 28 appellations and covers just under 12 hectares, and owns about 40 lieu-dits in the Cote de Beaune alone, all of which are cultivated organically. He knows the characteristics of all the lieu-dits, and in the Meursault vineyards, which are closer to Volnay, he deliberately planted Pinot Noir after understanding the characteristics of the land, and he values the quality of the finished wine more than business. There are no additives other than a very small amount of SO2 to prevent oxidation, and no collage or filters are used when bottling to preserve the aroma of the wine. Fabien Coche, who has a deep understanding of the climats of the Cote de Beaune, is one of the vignerons who can most faithfully express the quality and individuality of the wines of this region.
