Vines 20-100 years old, average 45 years old. 52hl/ha. Granite, sandy and clay soil. Planting density 12,000 vines/ha. South-facing slope continuing from Fleury, similar soil. Hand-picked harvest. 20% destemming. Carbonic semi-maceration 7-12 days. Domaine run by father and son Gerard and Gilles Juran. Gerard is the fifth generation, and initially rented a vineyard from his father to start winemaking. 1968 was the first vintage, after which he took over the vineyard from his father and grandfather, and the domaine now covers 21.5ha. The vineyard is 40 parcels, each with its own unique high-quality soil, and by blending them together, the wines have a complex aroma and flavor. They aim to grow the grapes in as natural conditions as possible, and ferment for a long period of time. They aim to make wines from Gamay that are natural yet have a solid structure that can be aged for a long time. The Domaine is located just south of Fleury and north of the town of Lancie.
It is also used in famous restaurants in Paris.
