Wine made with Chardonnay* from a talented grower and brewer who has mastered the soil of Napa

Made with Chardonnay (clone 4)* from Linda Vista Vineyards, certified organic, owned by Steve Massiason. Steve Masai Asson is one of Napa Valley's leading vineyard consultants, and a skilled grower and brewer who has mastered the soil of Napa. The fields are located in Oak Knoll, and the cool wind from the sea and the warm sunshine of California grow grapes with a firm fruit and acidity. The grapes are fermented at a low temperature using natural yeast in barrels and stainless steel drums, the lees are not stirred, and only a portion of malolactic fermentation is performed. It has a clean, fresh and fruity taste that goes well with meals.

This is our last vintage of Linda Vista. We were very fortunate to be able to make wine from this classic Napa Valley site. The juice was barrel fermented with native yeasts & aged for 10 months in neutral oak barrels.

Alc: 12.5%

[Revik Levik]

Founded in 2015 by Philip Holbrook and Will Prim. We started with two barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon at Howell Mountain Diojin Ridge in Napa Valley. After working organically and dryland growing in Coombsville and Howell Mountain, he soon began partnering with like-minded growers in Napa Valley and Northern California's Sonoma, producing non-Cabernet Sauvignon Tempranillo and Pinot grapes. We have increased the number of wines such as Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. In 2019, we went back to our roots and focused more on making our own branded wines using Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc grown on our own Napa Valley farms. In 2001, Cabernet Sauvignon was planted at Diojins Ridge, 550 meters above sea level on Howell Mountain. This certified organic field is divided into 7 plots with different temperatures and slope directions, and Aiken volcanic soil, which is rare in Napa Valley. It produces wines with complex and deep flavors. In 2013 we planted Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc at Safi Vineyards in Coombsville, south of Napa Valley. Safi is named after Philip and his sister Sasha, who grew up here. The cool climate and gravelly loam soils produce grapes with excellent acidity that last longer than any other Napa Valley AVA. Philip Holbrook's grandmother, who is also a winemaker, was the beloved wife of Robert Mondavi, Marguerite Mondavi, and grew up in Coombsville. When I was in college, I became involved in winemaking under the influence of my cousin Nathan Roberts. I worked for Robert Mondavi for two years from 2016 to 2018 and studied under Genevieve Jansens, chief winemaker and head of Opus One, and Joe Harden. In 2018, he moved to Nickel & Nickel and is still active as a member of this brewing team. Philippe's grandmother, Marguerite Mondavi, was also an artist, and the Levik label was inspired by her paintings.
