The altitude is 995m. The soil is sandy loam under a 10-40cm layer of muddy topsoil, with round pebbles deep below that, allowing for good drainage. Aged 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new). Unfiltered. Paul Hobbs, the pinnacle of Argentine wine, has revamped the Viña Cobos lineup. The single-vineyard series previously known as the Bramare brand has now been reborn as the Vineyard Designate series. The Estate series, which is made up of only single-vineyard vineyards managed by the company, was particularly popular among the Bramare series for producing excellent grapes. Although Argentine vineyards have not yet been officially classified, there is no doubt that they will attract attention as "Grand Cru" in the future.
