The wine has a fresh, finely textured and mineral aroma. 2018 was a year of excellent weather conditions throughout the growing season. The temperature was average, the rainfall was minimal, and the temperature difference was greater than in recent years, resulting in a typical Mendoza growing season. The healthy vineyards allowed the grapes to have a wonderful color and concentration at harvest. The harvest began on February 16th with Chardonnay from Los Arboles in Tunuyan and ended on April 20th with Cabernet Sauvignon from El Peral in Tupungato. Paul Hobbs, the pinnacle of Argentine wine, has revamped the lineup of Viña Cobos. The single-vineyard series, previously known under the Bramare brand, has now been reborn as the "Vineyard Designate" series. This is the birth of the Estate Series, which is a collection of single-vineyard vineyards managed by the company, which were particularly popular among the Bramare series for their excellent grapes. Although Argentina's vineyards have not yet been officially classified, there is no doubt that they will attract attention as "Grand Cru" in the future.
