It has very clear and concentrated aromas of wild flowers, black red fruits, cherry pie, raspberries, strawberries, Asian spices, and leather. The grapes were fermented whole bunch in carefully selected French oak barrels and open top tanks. It is medium bodied and very elegant. It is a wine you will want to enjoy with meals in the summer or early fall. *It will be labeled as West Sonoma Coast AVA from the 2022 vintage.
The 2021 vintage is listed in the Sonoma Coast AVA. Please note. We carefully selected fields with Gold Ridge soil on the slopes of hills 270 to 580 meters above sea level. These highly acclaimed fields are carefully managed by plot, harvested, and vinified. The soil is fine-grained and very well-drained, resulting in a light wine. The subsoil is a mixture of fossils and clay, and was once an ocean floor long ago. The climate in this coastal region is characterized by dry, warm summers and humid, cold winters. FERMENTATION

COOPERAGE
The main grapes used are from Vosges, Demptos, and Taransaud. The barrels are Jason-style barrels made specifically for Pinot Noir. Vosges wood is white and has a fine grain. Each wine is in the style of Hundred Acres' Jason Woodbridge, and represents a unique parcel of land on the West Sonoma Coast. Hundred Acres
Hundred Acres is a boutique winery in Napa Valley founded in 1998 (at the age of 36) by Jayson Woodbridge, who made a huge fortune at a young age while working in investment banking.
Jason has established a "0 or 100" policy, firmly believing that "if it's not the highest quality, there's no point in doing it," and produces the "perfect" Cabernet Sauvignon without any compromise. Hundred Acres is not a wine made by striving for "perfection," but an ultra-premium wine brewed with the utmost care, with "perfection" as the basic premise.
