The 2022 vintage is mainly from the Rutherford vineyard, with a blend of Stags Leap and Oakville vineyards. Aged for 12 months in French barrels (35% new barrels). The aroma of blueberries and plums rises beautifully, and the mouthfeel is silky and mellow. Characterized by cocoa, tobacco, nutmeg and pepper. The tannins spread pleasantly in the mouth.

2022 Vintage: In 2022, the grapes harvested before the extremely hot weather in mid-September had perfect acidity and freshness, while the grapes harvested after that had great structure, deep color, and luxurious fruitiness and power. The exquisite blend of these two creates a well-balanced finish.
Tasting Comments
Ripe dark berries, pomegranate, molasses, cranberry sauce with vanilla and cedar aromas. Complex flavor, red berries and licorice at first, dark cocoa and spicy almond flavor typical of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in the middle. Smooth and silky mouthfeel, dry tannins, vanilla and caramel aftertaste add depth.
Goes well with all meat dishes, tomato sauce, gravy, steak sauce, red meat, and game.

The 2022 vintage is from a special plot of excellent vineyards located in the south of Childs Valley, northeast of Napa Valley, which is the main vineyard used by famous wineries. Childs Valley is a long, narrow valley with an altitude of 250-300m, sandwiched between mountains over 500m on both sides, and has a funnel-like shape, with the temperature getting cooler as you go deeper into the valley. The southern side is blessed with sunlight, and is a notable area that produces excellent Cabernet Sauvignon with balanced acidity.
