This wine was started by a collaboration between Emmanuel Kemiji, a master sommelier of only 150 people in the world, and Byron Kosugi, a famous winemaker at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco, and Byron Kosugi, a master of California Pinot Noir, who is a winemaker at Saints Berry. They make single-vineyard Pinot from grapes from famous vineyards that can be considered as the top vineyards in California. "Miura" comes from the name of a bull trainer in Spain, where Emmanuel lived as a child. The bottle features a depiction of a brave fighting bull.
