It has a bright yellow color with a greenish tint and a gorgeous aroma. It has citrus fruits, fresh herbs such as dill, white pepper, green chili, a slight saltiness, and a hint of limestone. It is silky smooth in the mouth, has a firm acidity, and just the right amount of volume, leading to a long aftertaste. Climate & Soil: The area around San Antonio Bay is the most characteristic coastal wine-producing area in Chile. The vineyards are spread among the three coastal mountain ranges of Leyda, Lo Abarca, and Rosario, and new wine-producing areas are constantly expanding. Due to its mountainous geographical conditions, the cool, shallow, rocky soil produces white wines characterized by minerality and concentrated acidity. In 2015, Emiliana finally released an organic sparkling wine after many years of work. After two years, it was upgraded to a sparkling wine with secondary fermentation in the bottle, and re-debuted at the end of 2017. This wine, made by secondary fermentation in the bottle, has fine bubbles and texture, and continues to shine beautifully in the glass. Like the debut work, the taste is a fruity and fresh sparkling wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a meal. In the fall of 2021, the brand name was changed to "Amaluna." A portmanteau of Ama (mother) and Luna (moon/female), the brand name symbolizes Emiliana's winemaking, which is organically grown with consideration for Mother Earth.
