It was founded by his grandfather in 1920.

Little by little, Jean-Pierre and his parents expanded the estate, which now owns 18 hectares of vineyards in Chablis AOC and Premier Cru.

Jean-Pierre Grosso began making wine under his father in 1970.

He has been making wine alone since 1979, and that year was the first vintage to sell wine under his own name.

He learned a lot from his grandfather and father about cultivation, harvesting, brewing and wine culture, and at the same time inherited his passion for winemaking.Since 1980, he has been selling his wines under the current Domaine name label.

His daughter Eva now also works at the domaine.

Grape cultivation is carried out in traditional and natural conditions, with the use of organic fertilizers and minimal use of pesticides.

Most of the harvesting is done by hand, with careful selection.

The wholesome fruit is gently pressed in an air press and fermented.

Fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks allows the terroir to be more faithfully expressed.

This Chablis brand was a favorite of the late Jean-Claude Vrinas, the legendary owner of the famous Parisian winery Taillevent, and is still used at Taillevent today.
