The current owner, Ms. Veronique, is the daughter of biodynamic pioneer Mr. François Bouchet. Mr. François Bouchet was a biodynamic consultant for Leroy and other wineries. Ms. Veronique has taken over his legacy and has established herself in the Cote de Bourg region, and Chateau Farfa is now highly regarded as an authoritative chateau in biodynamic winemaking. This Farfa cru has been a famous cru for over 400 years, and the clay-limestone fields are considered one of the best terroirs for grapes. The fully ripe grapes are carefully hand-picked and the wine is made with the utmost care from bottling to vinification, making it a true biodynamic producer.
