Cantina Tani owns a vineyard in Monti, the most important village in the production area of ​​Vermentino di Gallura. In this region, most wine growers sell their grapes to cooperatives, but there are only four wineries that grow and brew their own grapes. Cantina's history began in 1980 when they planted Vermentino di Gallura in Monti, northeast of Sardinia. After that, they gradually began planting grapes for red wine and expanded as a wine grower. In 2008, they founded their long-awaited own winery. They make wine with strict selection and a focus on using fully ripe grapes. They own about 90 hectares of land, of which about 18 hectares are vineyards. The current owner is Tonino Tani. It is a small family-run winery run by his daughters Angelica and Roberta. Cantina Tani owns a vineyard in Monti village, the most important region of the Vermentino di Gallura production area. In this region, most wine growers sell their grapes to cooperatives, but there are only four wineries that do everything from cultivation to brewing in-house.
